Player Information for Sunday, 10-31-09

All players are expected to be at Sunday's game. If there is a rainout the team will be making plans to have an indoor practice in Freeport with the anticipated hours of 4-6pm. I feel that the team has a better understanding of the game, and has gotten better from our practices. I appreciate the hard work and energy that the boys bring to practice, and eventhough our scores may not show it, we are making strides for a bright baseball future. Please be at the game between 1pm and 130pm for pregame practice. Bring energy, and desire to Sunday's game.

Update

I just received a call from the other team's coach who said they are currently getting heavy rain and the field is underwater and will not be playable tomorrow so the games are off. I also received a call from the Freeport facility that the last free time was booked so will not have a practice. Our next practice is on Wednesday at Tully from 6:30 to 8:30 PM.

Game Status for 10/25

I have spoken to the Brave's coach and he has people who will work on the field in the morning. He will call me at about 7 AM to let me know if we will be playing. I will post a notice on this blog with what he tells me. If we do not have a game we will have practice at the Freeport facility in the afternoon.

13/14 Team Status

The Team's games are canceled for today 10/18. We are looking to go to the indoor practice field in Freeport from 4 to 6 PM today. Everyone will be called when it is confirmed. It is the
L. I. Sports Complex at 103 Mill Road in Freeport and the number is 516-546-0900.

The Double Header for the 17/18 team at Northeast Field in Freeport has been canceled due to poor field conditions and the weather.

Due to the field being unplayable today's games at Tully Park have been postponed.
