I spoke to Baldwin Park and the fields are playable so tonight's (7/31) game is on.

Given this mornings heavy rain and the forecast for the rest of the day the odds are the game will be postponed. There will be no official word until later and it will be posted as soon as it is received. Please do not make any plans until then. We will be having practice on Monday, August 3rd at Tully at 6:30 PM.

I was at Eisenhower "C" at 12:45 and it had been swept out and it looks like we will be playing.
I have a broom the other manager has a rake and as long as the Park doesn't close the field we will get the game in.

Final Update 7/21

The game has been officially called. We have one tomorrow at 5:30 PM at the same field. If that changes I will have a post up by 4 PM.

Update # 2 July 21 1:30 PM

Sorry about the date mistake on the first post. I just spoke to the maintenance people at Eisenhower Park. They will not be making a decision before 3 PM. I will call them at 3:30 and let you know what they say in a post at that time,

12:30 PM on 7/22 update

The league has not posted anything yet. Eisenhower Park does not usually cancel games before 3 PM. I will post a new notice as soon as I receive any information.

Practice

Today's practice has been canceled. There will be a practice on Monday, July 20, at Tully Park. It will run from 6:30 PM until about 8:30 PM. All team members are expected to be there. If you know of anyone who is interested in playing on our Fall teams have them come down. Any questions call Coach Gorman at 516-826-9889. Please note that we have games on Tueday at Tully at 6 PM and Wednesday at Eisenhower "C" with a 5:30 PM start.
